My name is Babatunde Uthman. And like everyone else, I thought travelling abroad for greener pasture is a certain route to success. Well, I tried and found out the hard way that it wasn't, if someone had told me, I wouldn't believe.

I spent six years in the UAE (United Arab Emirates) doing what most people would never do. I risk my life everyday cleaning tall buildings for almost 6 years. Despite the fact that my salary was low, the job was risky, I kept going because I hope one day, it'd get better.

Then one day, it all stopped, I returned to Nigeria after 6 years with NOTHING to show for my years of struggle and hard work in the UAE except the memories. I was ashamed and tried to go back abroad again. UK. Australia. Germany. One after another, every door closed. Every attempt cost me more money. The frustration was not just about the money — it was the feeling of trying harder and harder at something that was not working.

I was good at web design — but the income was irregular and inconsistent, I spent most of my quality times chasing and bidding for gigs online. Some months were fine. Most months were a quiet, private struggle that nobody around me could see.

That was when I found this opportunity.

I was skeptical. I had been let down enough times to know better. But something about this was different — it was the first time I saw a system that did not require me to leave everything behind to start and I was open to learn more. I asked hard questions. Without stopping anything I was already doing.

Today, I am NOT the person strapped to the side of a Dubai skyscraper, risking my life and wondering when things will change.
